The incredibly long development cycle is finally over! Looking back at my old blog posts I realise this image is nearly 18 months in the making. This is a slightly colour-corrected photo of the final colours. It's still not a fabulous representation of the real thing but it will have to do until I get it drum scanned.
One thing I learnt from this - leaving masking tape on too long is not great for the paper I took off large chunks of the surface of the paper when removing it. I have an idea how to fix it up before framing it though.
Very nicely done! And I understand completely about the colors. Many scanners can be fickle beasts at best. At worst, they can be downright exasperating!
