This piece came about from a desire to continue the style of 'Tree Spirits' [link] and from
 's gorgeous painting of a child at the foot of a tree [link] which stirred in me memories of a place I liked to go to sit and think...*Edit*  ever on the ball pointed out my vignette was suffering, particularly at the top where the foliage ended without any soft gradations. Fixed now. Thanks Ben.(Now available as a print!!)  |

I can see that you are going for a vignette thing, but its not really working, due to the uneven shape and lack of subtle gradation. I'd like to see the foliage extend to the top of the page OR have you do a true vignette in Photoshop.
But this is great Andy. I love it!!! Super job with the composition! That tree bark is so textural man.
